Our Mission
The Mission of the New Rising Sun Baptist Church is primarily EVANGELISM. This over-riding purpose must remain in the forefront of each ministry and department within the church.
Our highest aspirations are to win the lost for CHRIST, TO DEVELOP, EQUIP, AND EDUCATE those persons who are won to Christian Service, and to support the church mainly through tithes, free will gifts and offerings.

·The Lords Supper every 4th Sunday @ 11:30 am
·Sunday School @ 10:00 - 11:15 am
·New Members Orientation (6 weeks) Sunday @ 10:00 - 11:00 am
·Bible Study -Wednesday @ 6:30 - 7:30 pm
·Mission/ Women of Grace Meeting and Class- Wednesday @ 5:30 pm
·Beautifying Ministry Meeting- 1st Tuesday of the month
·Daycare Board Meeting Thursday before 4th Sunday
·Deacon Ministry Meeting- Thursday before the 4th Sunday (Every other Month)
·Trustee Board Meeting -TBA
·Youth Fellowship and Sunshine Band Rehearsal- Thursday before the 1st and 2nd Sunday @ 5:30 pm
·Soul Specials Rehearsal- Tuesday before the 3rd and 5th Sunday @ 7:30 pm
·Senior Choir Rehearsal- Wednesday before the 3rd and 4th Sunday @ 7:30 pm
·Mass Choir Rehearsal- Wednesday before the 1st Sunday @ 7:00 pm
